Horizon Report
I definitely think that the future of education will be impacted by the trends and challenges mentioned in the Horizon Report. I think that education is going to become a lot more dependent on technology than it is now. For example, number 6 under the key trends talks about active learning and how different technologies now have applications that promote challenged based learning. I agree that this helps students to be more in control and able to relate to real life issues. Also, I do believe that 21st century classes are going to need to change because as our everyday lives change and become more advanced, the classroom will have to advance as well in order to meet the needs of the children. For example, the classrooms will have to incorporate smart boards and other forms of technology in order to keep the students captivated, interested, and motivated to do well.
